Located just 6 miles / 10 km northeast of Pensacola city center and near to the suburbs of Brent, Bohamia, Escambia Bay and Gaberonne, Pensacola Regional Airport (PNS) is one of the premier facilities in this part of Florida. Pensacola Airport lies within the westerly county of Escambia and handles around two million passengers per year.

Six major airlines are based at Pensacola Regional Airport and offer a series of direct flights to mostly southern cities, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Fort Lauderdale, Houston and Orlando. Continental and Delta are amongst the most significant airlines serving this facility.


Getting to downtown Pensacola or your hotel is made easy by the excellent complement of charter shuttle buses, hotel courtesy shuttle buses, taxis and limousines. This airport transport also links the neighborhoods of Gulf Breeze and Perdido Key, and the southerly stretch of beaches. There is no rail service to Pensacola Airport, although the I-10 and I-110 are only a short drive from the terminal building itself. Near to Pensacola and the airport, the Gulf Breeze, Fort Walton Beach and Panama City beach are all easy to reach using public transport.
